We had adored Solano Avenue for a while, as it is a gorgeous neighborhood filled with locals enjoying all this street has to offer. When this cozy little café spot came available, we joyfully made it ours. SIGNAL is now a part of the fabric here: our space has an eclectic, homey vibe, and we couldn't love it more.

A rare historic building built in 1916, it is the perfect home from which we created and grew what SIGNAL has become. Come visit this warm interior, filled with the creative work of dear friends and enjoy the tranquil patio oasis in the back, away from the bustling Webster Street.

When we opened at Webster Street, those on the East End of Alameda hoped for an east side location. We excitedly obliged in this tiny outpost with an incredible interior view of the historic Alameda Theatre. It is such a lovely little spot, just off of Park Street.
